Easterns Local Football Association follows a set of rules that govern the sport of soccer known as the 12 laws of football. These laws are established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB), which oversees the sport globally. Here is a brief summary of each of the 12 laws:

1. The Field of Play: The playing field must be rectangular and marked with lines, including a center line and penalty areas.
2. The Ball: The ball must meet certain size and weight specifications and must be made of leather or other approved materials.
3. The Number of Players: Each team is allowed 11 players on the field, including one goalkeeper.
4. The Players’ Equipment: Each player must wear a shirt, shorts, socks, shin guards, and appropriate footwear.
5. The Referee: A single referee is responsible for enforcing the laws of the game and making decisions related to play.
6. The Assistant Referees: Two assistant referees assist the referee in making decisions.
7. The Duration of the Match: The game is played in two equal halves (time determined by age group), with a 15-minute half-time break.
8. The Start and Restart of Play: The game starts with a kickoff and restarts with a free kick, corner kick, or goal kick.
9. The Ball In and Out of Play: The ball is out of play when it crosses the goal line or touchline, or when the referee stops play.
10. The Method of Scoring: A goal is scored when the ball crosses the goal line between the goalposts and under the crossbar.
11. Fouls and Misconduct: Fouls include tackles, pushing, and dangerous tackles, while misconduct includes violent conduct, dissent, and unsportsmanlike behavior.
12. The Offside Rule: The offside rule prohibits players from being in an offside position when the ball is played to them or when they are involved in active play.
