Our Mission

Welcome to Easterns Local Football Association, a football association with a rich history spanning over 89 years. Originally founded in 1934 as the Eastern Transvaal Football Association, we have gone through numerous changes over the years but have always maintained our identity and commitment to excellence.

Today, we are a fully multiracial football association catering to all ages and genders from under six-year-olds to over 35-year-olds. Our mission is to develop the football talent in our region and help players achieve their goals of playing professional football.

At Easterns LFA, we believe that development is key to success, and we strive to provide our members with the tools and resources they need to reach their full potential. Whether you’re a young player just starting out or a seasoned veteran looking to take your game to the next level, we have the training programs, coaching staff, and facilities to help you succeed.

Our offices are located in Edenvale, where we run a professional outfit with our own referees’ structure. We are constantly developing new referees to ensure the highest level of professionalism on the field.

Our logo, the red rose, and our colors, navy blue and gold, have been with us since our inception, and we are proud to represent our region with distinction.
